I have enjoyed Boot camp tremendously!

Boot camp is definitely beneficial on all fronts - fitness, stress relief, toning and interacting with team mates. Each session's different and exciting. You exercise according to your ability and pace so you don't need to worry about looking silly!

As the weeks went on I felt less aches and pains. I also feel I have more energy and it helps me unwind at the end of a hard working day which is great.

Camp exceeded my expectations.
Alisa, 20's

I 'd just like to say we both really loved camp and can definitely feel and see a difference.

We thought all the exercises were so varied which made each camp night different and fun! So thanks very much and we'll definitely be back! We've even talked about getting our mums involved! Vicky and Nic, 20's

Boot Camp has been very enjoyable!

It has given me a lot of encouragement to keep on exercising once this month's camp has finished. I also feel more confident and thinner in myself
. Georgia, 30's

Brilliant, I really look forward to coming to the sessions.

You push yourself to your own limits and it's enjoyable, as opposed to being stuck in a boring gym. Camp was more fun than I expected it to be and also makes me push myself more.

I feel better within myself and friends and colleagues say I look good from it. I am sleeping better and find I have more energy.

I have already recommended Camp to my friends and one is signing up!

Bootcamp is fun, challenging to your own level, with a great group of people and I look forward to each one......Roll on the next camp!! Alex, 20's

Boot camp has given me a kick start to improve my fitness levels and strength.

The circuit exercises outside in the park have been great fun - better than being in a gym! I have enjoyed it very much and feel I am making real progress and pushing myself much more than I would do on my own.

I wasn't sure what to expect - I thought it might be mainly jogging so am pleased there is more variety!

I definitely have more strength. I have more stamina and now part-jog with the dog instead of walking. The hills are less effort than they used to be! Val, 40's

I have enjoyed Boot Camp.

I read an article about it in a local paper, then decided to give it a go when I saw the advert. I did not anticipate that I would enjoy working outside as much as I do.

It made a difference from the first session. My usual backache disappeared that night, rarely to reappear. I have also achieved one of my goals already - to be able to walk to the local village without getting fatigued, achy and out of puff - makes a huge difference!

Working with others is inspiring and enjoyable; and another factor that makes the difference when starting to get fit again. I have much less backache, more stamina and my friends say I walk taller and appear to move with more flexibility. I have recommended Boot Camp to them all! Carol Ann, 50's

Fitstreet Boot Camp is a great way of developing motivation and realising what
your strengths and limitations are physically.

It also provides opportunities to make improvements in areas where you need improvement, which is fantastic!

I thought I might feel embarrassed and might find it difficult to interact with others, but the group has a great vibe. We have a laugh, but also get on with the exercises!!! I also find that though the exercises are challenging they're not overwhelming, which has increased my confidence!!!

I now have more strength, more muscle tone, and definitely more motivation!! Boot Camp is great fun. It allows you to be active, social, as well as focused on your fitness goals. Farah, 20's

I was expecting Simon to be more of a sergeant major - I thought I'd be scared!

I liked that there was a wide range of ages and sizes - everyone felt included. I also like the fact that a lot of the exercises are broken down into 20 seconds work and 10 seconds rest, making it more achievable and making me want to come back each time.

I feel that I'm more flexible, I have more energy and I can feel the muscles in my stomach and flab around my waist working. Sessions are run well and they always vary, so we're not doing the same activities every time. You can work at your own pace and you can really see the results. Everyone gets on really well! Nuala, 20's

I have enjoyed every session.

Time goes really quickly because of the change of exercises and the short time spent on each. I haven't felt threatened by anything or anyone. The atmosphere is very positive!

It's not as 'hard' as I expected in that I thought I would find that I couldn't do things, and would really hurt during the camp.

I'm certainly more toned and feel a lot better. I have more strength and I 'm much happier with my body shape. I think I have more stamina and am surprised at how little I ache after each session.

Bootcamp is an enjoyable and fun way to get fit and trim. It is a positive experience and allows people to work at their own level, with friendly challenges. It makes me want to push myself that little bit more! Margaret, 40's

I had initial anxieties about going, but once I started I 'm now really enjoying it!

Boot Camp is more than I expected. It's more social and fun, but that's not taking away from working hard and achieving targets.

I definitely feel a lot fitter and know that I can run more than I ever did. I 'm losing inches, so I 'm starting to feel the benefits! After the first 2 sessions all aches and pains had gone!

The Nutrition plan that supports Camp is excellent. I 'm eating more healthily and drinking far more water and less alcohol!!
For all those who want to get fitter without the restraints of a gym, Boot Camp works! You definitely see an improvement after week 2! Doreen, 40's

Organised fitness fun in the 'great outdoors'!

The variety of the exercise circuits are great - hard work but never tedious or boring, and time passes really quickly. It is more women/user friendly and therefore more manageable for me than I expected. I worried that it might be a bit too 'military' style! I have increasing levels of energy, stamina and strength. I 'm feeling a bit more 'alive' in the day time!

I needed to kick start my motivation for exercise and looking after myself properly. Leaving behind my deeply buried memories of the horrors and humiliations of school P.E. lessons I have been pleasantly surprised at how much fun this is! Keeping a gaggle of women in line is quite an achievement that Simon manages with humour and enthusiasm.

We all have mixed abilities, so there's no need to feel too self-conscious. I 've enjoyed the variety of the circuits. They're hard work but never boring or repetitive, and already within such a short space of time, I have found an increase in energy and strength. Bernay, 40's

Very friendly group and encouragement is a big feature from both Simon and
fellow 'campers'!

Everyone from the previous Camp was really welcoming and continues to be very supportive. My friend Carol Ann had filled me in and I had watched a bit of one session. I knew it would be a challenge but I also knew it was necessary. I definitely have more energy. I 'm also beginning to be aware of underachieving muscles. My on and off back pain, which I 've suffered with for years, is now less frequent.

It's a very friendly bunch of ladies at Camp of all shapes and sizes. We're all looking to get leaner, fitter and have fun. Simon is really encouraging and helpful with creaky, cranky ladies and it's so much nicer to be exercising outdoors.

There's a good variety of challenging exercises that are just within the 'do-able' category AND also fun to achieve. The 45 minutes goes by amazingly quickly and I
get a really good feeling of accomplishment at the end of each session. I 've
activated long-forgotten muscles and am much more aware of engaging them in daily chores and my improving posture. AND I 'm losing weight! Jo, 50's

I have thoroughly enjoyed Boot Camp! It's been hard work and fun!

I have done something similar before, so it lived up to my expectations, but it really does make you work and want to try your best.

I feel fitter and the 45 mins just flies past, unlike a session in the Gym!! Gill, 40's

Yes I loved it thanks! Was a really fun workout (fun and workout don't
normally appear in the same sentence for me!)

45 mins seem to fly by when you're constantly on the move. I'm rubbish at the small bits of jogging, but will hopefully get better as the weeks go on. Plus everyone does seem really friendly and up for the challenge. Laura, 30's

Good mixture of women, all shapes and sizes.

Camp was what I expected, only better! It was more challenging than expected, which was good, and Simon encouraged in a friendly manner, rather than shouting! I've seen a definite reduction in the middle age spread as well as more energy and a will to eat healthier! Pamela, 50's
