Yes, that's right - get more sleep.
Most people's energy levels are low, from a succession of late nights and working long hours. When you add exercise to the mix, your body is placed under further strain, and so requires even more recovery time.
You don't get results while training, you get results when resting.
As you exercise you break down the body's muscle fibres, which need to rest sufficiently, in order to grow back stronger and sleeker.
Your body repairs itself and recovers from exertion while you sleep and rest.
f you don't allow yourself sufficient time to sleep, you will find it extremely hard to make good gains with your exercise program.
You will feel like you have worked hard but you won't necessarily see the gains, physically or mentally.
Catch up on sleep whenever you can - power naps mid afternoon can do wonders for your energy levels!
