
Here's a thought for all of you that still think that long periods of cardio are the
answer to fat loss:
Studies show that interval training can be up to 9 times more effective than steady state cardio at stripping your frame of unwanted bodyfat!
So why do so many people still persist on chaining themselves to the treadmill, bike or X-Trainer for 45 minutes, when they could get the job done far better in half the time?
Because to be quite frank, it's the easier option! It doesn't require such intense concentration, hard work or determination... and you can't read a magazine or watch the telly when you're working in intervals that require nearly 90% effort of your body's energy to complete!
My answer to cardio is this:
Why spend all day going round the houses when you can take the shorter, faster route to fat loss?
