A week's meals in 30 minutes!

Want to stick to a healthy eating plan, but keep 'stuffing up' the moment you are more than 5 minutes from home and those well-stocked cupboards?

Here's the solution. It requires preparation yes, but the rewards will become evident in the mirror.

You are going to start a food production line that will ensure that healthy food is always to hand. Give it a go, for goodness sake!

Step 1 - Buy lots of fresh produce from the supermarket. I mean plenty of vegetables, plenty of variety. Grab everything from peppers to onions, carrots to courgettes, asparagus to spinach and get it in the fridge.

While you're there pick up a week's worth of chicken breasts - 12 should do. That's 3 '4-packs'.

Step 2 - Set aside 10 minutes - yes, 10 minutes. Grab all those vegetables and get slicing. Cut up a week's worth of vegetables, stick them into tupperware sealable tubs and pop them back in the fridge. Feel very virtuous!

Step 3 - Now for the chicken. Grill, bake or BBQ the 12 breasts. Marinade or season them for extra flavour. At the very least you only need to heat the oven and pop the batch in for 30 minutes. You can get on with other things as the bird roasts.

Step 4 - Let the chicken cool, then, yes, you guessed it - pop the meat into sealable tubs or clingfilm and pop them back in the fridge.

DONE! Preparation is complete.

Now, every time you need a meal you have protein and quality carbohydrates instantly to hand, that you can pop in a tub and take out with you. Your meals will be very nutritionally dense, low in total calories, high in appetite suppressing fibre, and full of lean protein to support muscle growth, a fast metabolism and a controlled appetite.

If you want to be extra well prepared you could even freeze some of your cooked chicken batch, so that your supplies are neverending.

So, give it a go. Take some time at the beginning of this week to do a food shop and then spend 30 minutes preparing some fresh produce, to create a supply of fat loss meals for the rest of your week.

It really isn't hard to do. It just requires a little co-operation from you.
