Accelerate your Fat Loss

What if I told you that you could effectively shift body fat at an accelerated rate, by making just one change to your daily diet, without having to put extra hours
in a
t the gym? Would you be interested?

The answer lies in your choice of carbohydrate. If you're carrying excess weight, chances are you've been making the wrong carb choices. A diet high in grains - bread, cereal, pasta, rice, potatoes and corn - will only leave you storing fat, especially if your choices are processed, high in starch or sugar.

Here's the problem you face: Your body needs sugar from carbs for energy. But, since your body's carb storage capacity is limited, any meal or snack you eat that is high in carbs will cause your blood sugar levels to rise too high. Your body then has no choice but to secrete insulin into the bloodstream, to lower your sugar levels.

Sadly for you, insulin is a storage hormone, designed to store excess calories from carbohydrates in the form of fat, in your fat cells! What's more, if you constantly fill your body's energy stores with sugar from grains, your body will favour these instead of fat as your number one energy fuel. It's a double edged sword.

High levels of insulin in your system suppress other hormones that are trying to burn fat and build lean tissue at the same time! You could very well end up getting fatter while never giving your body the chance to burn off its excess fat stores! The more grains you consume the less chance you have of looking trim.

So, here's the solution: cut down on grains and replace them with as many vegetables as you like at lunch and dinner. If you still want to eat some grains, save them for breakfast. That's it.

Now, many of you will be saying 'I can't do that! That's bad for me!' or 'No way! I'm not giving up bread!' or even 'Shut up and get a life!'

FINE.

Ask yourself one question: Do you really want to hold on to that excess fat forever?

I'm giving you a guaranteed solution that will save you extra hours sweating in the gym. I could be shooting myself in the foot by telling you this! I already have clients that are practicing this method and seeing good results. Their sugar cravings are dropping, they feel more focused and less tired, they are not dependant on bread as they used to be, and they find that they are no longer bloated.

Start by removing grains from your evening meal. Serve yourself plenty of vegetables instead to fill you up. Vary your choices, night by night. Make things more interesting by roasting them or eating them raw, mixed with salad. Eat more beans and pulses - buy canned choices for convenience.

The same goes for your lunch time choices. Even on the run you can avoid grains. Pop into M&S and stock up on their little salad bowls - Edamame and green beans, mixed bean salad, aubergine and pepper salad. there are endless choices to be had. And ALL without a slice of bread in sight!

Give up toast at breakfast - have boiled eggs or smoked salmon slices instead. Try natural yoghurt with fruit and seeds. Add some porridge oats if you like.

As for snacks, I've already talked in previous blogs about eating protein snacks such as an apple with peanut butter, a piece of parma ham with melon or a handful of almonds. Again, no grains.

I've tried it, and it works. If you want to try it let me know and I will advise you fully.

If you're serious about fat loss and you want to see results quickly, ditch the grains and get cosy with the vegetables, while occasionally flirting with the odd piece of fruit. Your body will be far happier and shaplier as a result...
